CV - Thomas Gulden

Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Gulden joined RWE Power AG in 2003, after completing his studies at Clausthal and Auckland Universities in energy engineering and engineering management. Following the participation in the company's graduate programme on corporate planning and controlling, he took up a position in RWE Power's commodity risk controlling team. Key responsibilities included contract valuation, pricing and development of a JI/CDM risk framework. Since 2006, Mr. Gulden has focussed his efforts in the climate protection sector, in particular on JI/CDM Project Development and M&A. In this role, he was also appointed as Managing Director of Carbon Climate Protection GmbH.

CV - Ferdinand Heilig

Mag. Ferdinand Heilig, having studied environment economics in Vienna, joined the Vienna Stock Exchange in 2000, as a consultant to create an environment stock exchange. In 2002 he became CEO of a newly privatised district heating plant in the city of See where he achieved a fuel switch from coal to biomass. In 2004 he jointly founded with the Austrian industrialist family Asamer the CARBON Projektentwicklung GmbH, a company specialised in the financing, development and operation of JI/CDM-Projects with special emphasis on N2O destruction at nitric acid plants. In this role he is appointed Managing Director of Carbon Climate Protection GmbH, the joint venture company of RWE Power AG and CARBON Projektentwicklung GmbH. Since 2003 Mr. Heilig has been lecturer of business administration with special emphasis on sustainable corporate development at the University of Applied Science for Infrastructural Management in Kapfenberg, Austria.
