CARBON Projektentwicklung
CARBON Projektentwicklung is a limited liability company located in Austria. The company is an experienced financing and investment company specialised in the development and implementation of CDM and JI projects. Fifty percent of the company is owned by Mag. Ferdinand Heilig and the other fifty percent by the Asamer Group.
CARBON Projektentwicklung has experience with CDM project development in Africa, Latin America and Asia and is specialised in the catalytic destruction of N2O in the tail gas of nitric acid plants. It developed the methodology for the destruction of nitrous oxide (N2O) in the tail gas of nitric acid plants (AM0028) and implemented the first N2O destruction CDM project world-wide at the nitric acid plant of the Abu Qir Fertilizer Company, Egypt.

The company develops as well as participates in CDM/JI projects and is a prime buyer of carbon credits for its own compliance as plant operator under the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS).
